I actually spent time on this one! (Like 2 days!)
In any case I didn't follow the assignment at all for this piece. It was supposed to be positive and negative space. Then it was supposed to include DRAPERY. Then my teacher added in color theory, and that the background had to like...relate to the foreground somehow. By the time she was done making up her mind I was like TOO BAD YOU ARE GETTING CRAB CLAWS. This was fun and I'm happy with the results anyway, even if I probably got a bad grade for not listening. I got a live crab and some claws to reference for this and ended up having the living crap pinched out of my left thumb. I was totally asking for it though, i put it there. I WANTED TO SEE HOW HARD IT COULD PINCH OKAY? Yeah so that was a bad idea. But it was also hilarious. I have a claw like these that I Just strung on a necklace for a friend as her birthday present.
